The following supported internships are available in the local area to start in September 2019. To find out more please contact them directly or speak to your assessment planning and review officer (APRO) to check that you are eligible.

If so a Supported Internship at GLL Better Leisure Centres may be for you.

Do you want to work but haven’t made up your mind where or what you would like to do?

Interns and Outcomes is a supported internship delivered by Mencap.

Interns And Outcomes is an award winning Supported Internships that offers a great opportunity for young people aged 16 -24 with an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) the opportunity to learn practical vocational skills in a real work setting.

Interns And Outcomes can be delivered through different models, depending on the individual’s needs, which are always at the centre of the programme’s goals.

The programme can be tailored to the unique needs and career aspirations of the individual.

Project Search - Work within the NHS

Do you want to work for the NHS or within a hospital environment?

On Project SEARCH you will complete three placement rotations across a variety of roles on offer within Barts NHS Trust.

Since 2014 the Project SEARCH Supported Internship programme has successfully enabled over 70% of graduating Interns to gain full time paid employment.

To date graduates of Project SEARCH have moved in jobs including but not limited to; Medical Records Assistant, Ward Assistant, Health Care Assistant, Restaurant Operative and Band 3 Receptionist.
