The Children and Young Peoples Service Providers Network (CHYPPS)
Working with Children and Young People in Waltham Forest?
If you work with children and young people in Waltham Forest, you are invited to join a local network called ‘The Children and Young Peoples Service Providers Network’ (CHYPPS).
CHYPPS is a great way to meet other people working locally with children and young people. It also provides a chance to learn about important new information, issues and consultations. At our regular forums, you can showcase your work or have a stall. These events are a good opportunity to learn more about things that affect us, such as the Children & Young People’s Plan.
CHYPPS is made up of 120 local groups and organisations working with those aged 0-19, and people with learning disabilities up to the age of 25. It exists to bring together people who work with children in order to influence decisions made by the council and other statutory bodies, such as the NHS and the police. It is a way to get your views heard and to meet with other providers across Waltham Forest. The network also organises training and events. Membership is free for organisations that work with children and young people.
