At Hawkswood, we provide educational provision within a therapeutic context aimed at meeting the needs of vulnerable young people who have tier 2/3 mental health issues. Our main focus is the fragile and delicate end of the mental health spectrum including self-harm, depression, anorexia and psychosis. We cater specifically for pupils in KS3 and KS4. Placements range from one to two terms.
Hawkswood offers short term bespoke programmes (1 term) for up to eight pupils at tier 1 experiencing an emotional crisis that might lead to difficulties engaging with school e.g. bereavement, divorce.
All referrals to Hawkswood are made via schools through the Fair Access Panel.
