Lloyd Park Green Gym
The Green Gym enables volunteers to get physically active whilst improving the environment and their local community. All sessions are FREE, run weekly and everyone is welcome regardless of experience, ability or fitness. Each session provides a range of new and interesting outdoor practical conservation experiences to improve strength and stamina, boost practical skills and give the opportunity to meet others with similar interests.
On each day our projects cover a range of activity from practical conservation of existing habitats, to planting new wildlife gardens, orchards or developing allotments and community food growing spaces. On the day tasks can range from planting wildflowers, bulbs, shrubs and trees, to fencing and building paths and steps, to the removal of invasive species.
