Stepping Stones Childcare

Day nursery

Stepping Stones day nursery has been established for 30 years and is based on working closely with parents to promote the well being of their children. We do this by providing a warm, welcoming and caring environment where our children think of the nursery as an extension of home, this helps them to settle, enjoy nursery life and make new friends.

At Stepping Stones we have a structured approach to how we look after our children, because routine is extremely important as it give children some control over their day and as a result of this they feel secure and therefore confident and ready to enjoy activities and learn.

We strive to give our children an understanding of respect for themselves and others. Children learn to share, take turns and think about their friend's feelings and so learn to care for each other.

At Stepping Stones we think of ourselves as one big family supporting and caring for each other........ children, parents, grandparents and staff alike.
