Ashiana is an organisation that works towards stopping violence in our lives and in our communities. The purpose of the Ashiana Network is to empower women. We work with South Asian, Turkish and Iranian women who are experiencing all forms of violence against women and girls (VAWG) including domestic abuse, FGM and harmful practices, with culturally sensitive advice, support and safe-housing, enabling them to make positive and appropriate choices for themselves.
Ashiana also raises awareness of domestic violence and carry out preventative work with the community as a whole and provides counselling to women and girls who are experiencing VAWG.
Some of the services we provide are;
- Temporary Refuge Accommodation
- Support Groups
- Education & Prevention
Please refer to the Ashiana website, email or call us for more information and criteria requirements.
