Lee Valley Regional Park Authority Youth and Schools Service

Lee Valley Regional Park stretches for 26 miles across London, Essex and Hertfordshire. This fantstic park features a diverse mix of heritage sites, nature reserves and open green spaces alongside world class sports venues. The Lee Valley Park Youth and Schools Service offers specially designed, adaptable education programmes and projects to suit the needs of groups with a range of eduactional needs and disabilities. Mainstream sessions can be adapted to suit your group or a range of short, sensory, art and environmental activities can be combined through the Explore Project. The service provides one or two staff members per session (these are in addition to your groups ratio requirements and should not be concidered part of your ratios). All sessions are listed in the Discover your 10,000 acre classroom brochure which can be requested by calling our telephone number below or can be dowloaded from our website's education page. We unfortunately cannot provide 1:1 support or personal care as this is the responsibility of the teachers/parents/gardiens of the individual/group. Our tutors are Makaton trained. Out of term time the Service runs family events which are accessible to families who may have individuals with SEND. These are also listed on our website at visitleevalley.org.uk/whatson.
