Richard House Children's Hospice
Richard House is a children’s hospice based in Newham, East London. We provide services to children and young people with life-limiting conditions (including those with complex SEND needs) and their families. These services include:
- short breaks (both daycare and residential services)
- personalised health care (including step-down, symptom management and end of life care)
- transition services (including a young adults group)
- play specialist support
- music therapy
- leisure and social activities
- bereavement support
- spiritual care
Our focus is on providing an environment where families can create happy, positive experiences and memories together. We consider the physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of each family that comes through our door. Our nurse-led team of clinicians, therapists, specialists and counsellors provide a range of support services to parents, siblings and the wider family. Some services are just for children and young people, some are for whole families and others are specifically to support individual family members. Please contact us for more to find out what would be right for your family.
